For the drying of thick and difficult to dry materials, the temperature of the radiant heater can generally be selected according to the absorption peak of the partial matching absorption principle, but this is far from enough. According to the characteristics of the materials, carefully study the heat and mass transfer characteristics of the dried materials and formulate a reasonable drying process. For new materials, it is best to conduct the thermal spectrum experiment first to provide optimized process parameters for engineering experimental research. However, it is better to conduct simulation experiments in a fixed bed or a furnace with similar structure to the upper process to obtain optimized drying process parameters. A good infrared radiation drying process must carry out experiments and engineering design according to the basic law of radiation heat and mass transfer in this chapter. Most of the current infrared radiation heating drying channels in China do not reach the optimized thousand drying process, so it is necessary to tap the potential, improve the drying efficiency, save energy sources and develop towards intensive drying.
